Katak Sesharu Arambha Review

Katak - Sesha ru Arambha" strives to infuse the Odia essence into its storyline, with Odia film stalwarts Sidhant Mohapatra and Anu Choudhury in the lead. While their performances are a definite highlight, the overall film falls a bit short of being a delectable treat.

Debasis Patra makes an impact with his performance, particularly in the first half, but his portrayal of a bold gangster loses some authenticity as the film progresses.

Actress Poonam Mishra, known for her beauty, doesn't quite match her looks with her acting prowess, leaving room for improvement in her role.

A pleasant surprise in the film is Prasanjit, who plays the character of Chotu. As a new face, he delivers an impressive performance, showcasing his potential in the industry.

"Rangalata" is a standout song, offering both melodious tunes and an engaging dance number that adds a touch of entertainment.

In summary, "Katak - Sesha ru Arambha" can be seen as a time-pass movie. While it boasts strong performances from Sidhant Mohapatra, Anu Choudhury, and the promising newcomer Prasanjit, the film as a whole falls short of being truly outstanding. It has its moments, but it doesn't quite manage to create a cinematic experience that's consistently captivating.
